    Dutch citizenship for Latente Nederlanders

    Hey guys,

    some of you know about my struggle with this for years...well it's finally going to get a bit better. So can't apply just yet, but looks like those of us born before 1985 to Dutch Moms and non-Dutch fathers should soon be apply to for Dutch citizenship by the end of the year!!!:)

    That's great news Joy! It's not very often a change in the ruling works out for the better - it's usually the other way round that people who could previously apply no longer can.

    Ja, it is great news, it's been a long time coming. Irony is we are being allowed this, but the other part of the law is also going to be limiting dual nationality.
